Miniature carpet looms set to hit the market in 2018
VANDEN LOOM carpets looms will set the scene for 2018 with a range of models including the most affordable, but also the priciest, with an estimated price tag of US$7,500.
While the prices may seem high, these models are more than just a price increase, says Peter Csomara, CEO of Vanden Looms, the manufacturer of the popular carpet looms.
“The price of the carpets will drop by 25 per cent with the introduction of the new models,” he says.
“There is also a 20 per cent discount on carpets which will help offset the cost of the production.”
While these models will be coming to market in the near future, Csotara is confident the cost will be much lower than the current carpets on the market, which cost up to US$11,000.
“These are the products that are going to be on the shelves, and they will be cheaper than carpets from our competitors,” he explains.
The first model will be a 30-inch model, which will feature a removable base and a 60-inch height, and will be priced at US$5,400.
Another model will feature the same base as the 30- and 60- inch models, but will have a shorter height, at 30 inches and 36 inches respectively.
The new models are also set to come in different sizes, ranging from a 60″ model, to a 60.5″ model.
The 30 inch and 60 inch models are priced at $4,600 and $5,100, respectively.
“The new carpets are designed to offer consumers a wider range of styles and prices, with more choices for different price points,” says Csorara.
He hopes that consumers will be impressed by the prices.
“We are working with our suppliers to make the new products affordable and provide the best product available,” he notes.
